Officer Jerry Ivey

 On June 13, 1975, Salina Police Officer Jerry Ivey was shot and killed by a suspect after he attempted to stop a car used in a robbery moments earlier.


It is imperative that we not forget those that gave their life for the protection of others.

Officer Ivey was the fourth Salina Police Officer killed in the line of duty.

Jerry was the 4th SPD Officer Killed in the line of Duty.
